Hi, I'm Christie Pitts. I drive business results by creating order from chaos.

Most recently, I created a zero-to-one ecosystem strategy as Head of Corporate and Business Development at Panasonic Well, a new business incubator for Panasonic. We started with a startup competition, awarding $1M in non-dilutive funding to companies building solutions for family wellness. From there, we launched a partner ecosystem. In less than a year, more than 55 partners joined the Partner Collective, and 28 of them had revenue-generating product integrations.

Previously, I helped build Backstage Capital, investing in more than 200 early stage companies led by underrepresented founders. At Backstage, I led the end-to-end investment process, including sourcing, diligencing, negotiating, investing, and portfolio support. Prior to joining Backstage Capital, I was a Principal on the Verizon Ventures team. I started at Verizon as a part-time retail customer service rep and through a combination of luck and hard work, grew to run marketing and sales operations for a $4B+ P&L before joining the Ventures team.

I'm a patented inventor and am passionate about women's health. In 2022, I co-founded VCs for Repro, which was recognized by Fast Company as a World Changing Idea.
